Bill Epling

William "Bill" Epling's career has spanned stints in industry and academia, where he has taught many students chemical engineering fundamentals and helped guide them through research projects.

Epling's research focuses on catalysis, emissions control, climate change, and reaction engineering. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Chemical Society, and the North American Catalysis Society. He has served on the editorial board of "Applied Catalysis A: General," "Applied Catalysis B: Environmental," and the Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering.

Epling received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech and earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida.
